:
The middle of this city sits a set of giant structures this is the of true Romagard, there are rainbow bridges on all four sides that lead into and out of this area.
To the south is Valhalla where they believe those that die in battle are sent to be reborn, Valhalla has a Gothic cathedral and is nothing more than a landscape battlefield with tombstones. Those that worship Gods of war and battle go here to worship.
To the North is Folkvangr here there is a statue of Freya standing outside the a golden hall, inside this hall are tables and chairs set for a very large feast, the Romgardian’s believe that the other half of those that die in battle come here to celebrate their great battles and victories, before resting and relaxing over food and drink, those that worship crafting skills come here to worship.
To the east is a pathway with a set of golden statues facing each other with fists raised high, further down this path is the training grounds, this area is full of little huts and weapon racks this is where the kings army trains and prepares to defend their own country and aid others. The king believes there will be a war of the nine realms and for this reason his army is very large.
To the west is a small fishing village, where noblemen and women go on fishing trips to catch fish, these people are responsible for the food supply on Asgard and are paid moderately well by the king for their duties.
Population:
There is a population of about 100,000 people, these people are split between the republic, nobles and commoners, all of them are pretty well off and none struggle to make ends meat. All are employed in some way shape or form.
The languages spoken vary as the wealthy and ones in power speak Common, and Draconic (the language of the Gods), and Celestial, the nobles speak mostly Common but some also speak Celestial as well. The Commoners speak mostly common, but also speak the language of their race
Nearly the entire city has blood that traces back to Aasimarian bloodlines. The Republic is nearly one-hundred percent Aasimarian, The nobles are about half-bloods, and the Commoners are a mixed batch of half-bloods, and other travelers that have decided to become members of Romagard.
Industries:
Romagard is known for its craftsmen and tailors, they trade statues, gems, and other rare materials, as well as make fancy garb to be worn by wealthy towns and individuals.
Romagard is also self proficient in food resources and weapons crafting but do not trade or sell those outside the city walls.
Backstory:
romagard was nothing more than part of the oceans until one day the seas drew back leaving nothing but a blank canvas for the sun to heat. Travelers began to notice this plot of land and began to speak of it to others, curious by it’s emptiness a wealthy nobleman named Ymer sent some of the greatest craftsmen of that time, to build his city, with golden statues, and rainbow bridges separating the land was to be called Romagard.
During its following year Romagard began to come under siege time and time again, from giants, orcs and others that wanted the land for themselves, The land and its people stood strong and the statues made by the first craftsmen still stand today. It has began to be known as a religious town, starting off as a singular religion and branching into many.
Because of it’s early days of war and siege from orcs, and the “great war” they believe that they should always be battle ready and for this reason all children, men and women are trained for combat, with both sword and shield as we ll as unarmed combat.
Great War:
The great war took place almost a hundred years ago the king of that time, King Esron had an affair with a maiden who birthed his only daughter, since Esron and his wife already had two sons he banished the maiden from the lands to protect his reputation. Years later his daughter seeked revenge on the land and attempted to take the land by force with her army of zombies, and Orcs they took the city by storm and she would have been successful except for one major flaw, she could not get the sword they called the God breaker. Esron’s son and his Aasimar defenders stood strong, while the entire city was reduced to rubble they made their final stand effectively ending the war and sending Lilith to the shadow planes. Aside from occasional Orc attacks the city has been at piece ever since.
The statues of the first crafters stood strong through the war and were not harmed and still stand strong today
