(I'll try to recap this as best I can, it's been a few days so it may be fuzzy)
GM: Hydranis
Players: Monty, Mizu, Lyra
The session began with Lyra and Mizu returning from their scouting mission. The two halflings confirmed that Cornelius was in fact correct and that the undead were facing away from Moonbrooke. On the return from their scouting run, a large wolf appeared. It seemed non hostile as it stooped to drop a small leather sachet and the disappeared into the forest. Lyra immediately recognized it as a sign from Neria as she picked up the dreamer's sachet.
Upon returning to the ship Mizu and Lyra found Monty fishing. They relayed their findings to him and the group decided to leave for Talis and Elmdor. The ship departed without any issues and the crew rotated in shifts. During Lyra's watch she heard a voice call out. She turned and raised her crossbow only to find a ghostly figure standing before her. She detected no evil emanating from him but she was still uneasy. The man began to speak about his past and told Lyra a story about the Gornagia and how it was taken by an evil warrior. This of course was something Lyra had never heard and was puzzling since it contradicted what she knew. The man left and Lyra stop upon the deck in contemplation. Monty arose and was confronted by the ghostly man below deck. They spoke more and the man left into a vacant cabin. As he did so, runes appeared on the door spelling out the name "Grimke"
Monty and Lyra discussed their encounter and were resolved to continue on their journey. The rest of the trip passed without incident and the ship arrived in port the next day. To their surprise, the party found the city of Talis in full celebration. Aedwynne was left on the ship as the party mingled among the market square indulging in the chocolate festival. Delphi particularly enjoyed the festival causing a bit of a disturbance. After leaving the town the group explored the river to see if the ship would pass through. Monty had his doubts, but the party decided to bring the ship as far up the river as possible.
The ship made it up the river until the group encountered a water fall. Monty insisted that the ship should stay here and that the falls were impassable. Lyra however simply ordered the ship to continue to Elmdor amidst the discussion. It was a bumpy ride and everyone was thrown around, but the ship sailed on and came to a stop not far from Elmdor. The party disembarked and continued on foot through the jungles and fields until the sound of bow strings being drawn caught their attention and a large Orc stepped forward...
