This is a list of all rules that are set into place for the group as a whole, and any house rules that have been implemented to make the game flow much easier.
We are not responsible for feeding you! If you pool money together with members to order food or anything similar, that is fine and definitely encouraged.
You must have some sort of transportation to events.
If you own or have access to a vehicle, that is a major plus. If not, you must find a friend or parent to drive you. If possible, car pooling with a fellow Taroson member is also a good idea.
Must not cheat.
You may not play with any modified or cheat dice. The same rule applies to players who call out an incorrect die result. If you are too immature to play the game fairly, then you will not be allowed to continue any further with us. If you have any questions about any of your dice, please ask fellow Taroson members and they will help you out to the best of their ability. A final call about your dice will be made upon inspection by the game master(s).
You must get along with players at all times.
You do not have to be best friends with everybody that plays with us, but when you are at sessions you must remain respectful and courteous towards one another. If there are any problems, it is your responsibility to bring it up to the game master and/or the owner of the residence that you are playing at. The less drama that occurs at our games, the more fun we can have slaying dragons!
All new characters start at level 1! No exceptions may be made to this rule! If your current character dies and you wish to continue with the party at a level close to theirs, I will have a few premade characters will full background stories attached that will definitely fit the plot.
No player may have more than 3 characters at any given time!
When creating a character you are allowed to reroll your stats if your combined modifiers are lower than +3 and do not have a stat that is over 13.
When rolling for health upon leveling up, you reroll all 1's. If you get a 2, you are out of luck.
Three 20's in a row for attacking is an instant kill, no matter what your level or how powerful the creature you're fighting is.
No character may be played without a character background completed.
No level "dipping". You must have at least 3 class levels of a class before you are allowed to multiclass out of it. Yes, this also means that you must be level 3 before you can multiclass.
All pure-blood Elves may cast Prestidigitation (Cantrip) as if they had it as a spell, regardless of their class.
Players playing in Taroson for the very first time may reroll their two lowest stats until they are higher than what they originally were.
All health potions will heal for their maximum amount.
