I believe it is time that I took a step back from the DM Screen in Pathfinder. I've been running sessions and was able to get us all through three campaigns since roughly 2012-2013 and over the last year or so I've really been feeling the drain of writing as well as a massive lack of the inspiration that I once had. I still have ideas and plans for the next installment, but right now I do not have what it takes to push it forward properly. So with that said, I think we should put our heads together to finish up some basic aspects of Palperroth and let someone else take over for a while. I have a few character ideas that I would like to roll with and some time as a player will probably be great therapy.
Also, in my spare time, I have been working on some plot fixing to put Taroson into an official novelization, starting with my 2nd campaign (a prequel), pushing through the Levid era, and finally through to what has been current. Characters may or may not exist fully, as the game has given me much inspiration but not everything will work. Another project I have been working on is the modern firearms combat system, which originally was going to be the basis of a board game but I have been slowly transitioning it all over into a full pen and paper RPG. I think I'm going to continue to work on this and when it's ready I'll run a 1-3 session mini-campaign/mission to not only test the waters of the system but also to gauge interest.
It's been a pleasure running and discovering new story elements within this land, and although we are far from achieving peace I need to just take a break from it all so that I can focus on other things and bring my inspiration back to what it once was. I will, at some point, be finalizing another YouTube video with a synopsis of the last two campaigns as well as give some leading information about the next chapter.
